Hi, I’m Audra—founder of OG Fit Studios.
I’ve spent over 20 years in movement, branding, and building community through fitness. From opening Downtown LA’s first barre studio to creating global fitness concepts and leading powerhouse brands, I’ve always believed in the power of purposeful movement and bold experiences. OG Fit Studios is the next evolution of that vision—a space built for connection, energy, and transformation. I’m so glad you’re here.
Our Story Starts With Our Owner:
Audra Skaates
Audra Skaates is an accomplished entrepreneur and creative business leader with over two decades of experience spanning professional dance, boutique fitness, brand development, and strategic growth. In 2011, she opened The Main Barre—Downtown LA’s first barre studio—where she trained tens of thousands of clients and cultivated a loyal community long before the boutique fitness boom. Her work has been spotlighted by leading outlets including The LA Times, Vogue, Goop, SELF, E! Entertainment, CBS Best of LA, and Medium.

As founder and operator of her own studio, Audra led every aspect of the business—from brand identity and marketing to partnerships and experiential events for clients like Lincoln Automotive, Mercedes-Benz, E! Entertainment, Squarespace, Disney, and J.W. Marriott. Her entrepreneurial reach went global when she co-founded a franchise-model fitness concept in Australia, where she served as Chief Creative Officer, building the business and its training programs from the ground up.
Her creative leadership also extended into corporate wellness and entertainment as Executive Creative Director for TheatreDNA, where she developed movement-based experiences for hospitality, live events, and themed entertainment spaces.

In addition to launching and scaling her own ventures, Audra has held senior leadership roles across some of the fitness industry's most recognized brands, including Yoga Six, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, Gold’s Gym, Sweat Yoga, and Hot 8 Yoga. In each role, she played a key part in shaping brand identity, driving operational excellence, leading cross-functional teams, and executing strategic growth initiatives across multiple locations.

Now, Audra is bringing her passion and expertise to life through her latest venture—OG Fit Studios, a luxe, boutique fitness destination opening in the heart of North Hollywood. Bold, high-energy, and community-driven, OG Fit Studios delivers expertly curated classes set to powerful playlists, vibrant lighting, and purposeful programming. It’s more than a workout—it’s a space to connect, transform, and redefine what results feel like.
